We are currently working on a very special case in Douglas County. It is not a cold case but it is now several years old. It is the disappearance of 14 year old Stephanie Condon. Stephanie disappeared from a babysitting job in Myrtle Creek, Douglas County, OR on Oct. 30, 1998. (Halloween). Stephanie was a model child and not considered by anyone to be a possible run-away. Foul play is most probable and the case is being investigated as a homicide, not a missing person. There is currently a reward of up to $20,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for Stephanies disappearance. If you have any information, or have called in with information in the past, but have not been contacted, or if you know someone who you think may have information, please call us at (541) 440-4446. You may also call the Sheriffs tip line at (541) 957-2099. You can Email us at the Sheriffs Office at coldcase@co.douglas.or.us or at this website at coldcasecowboys@wildblue.net We would also very much like to hear from the person who anonymously called Television station KPIC in June of 1990 Reporting to have found a body. You may remain anonymous if you choose.
