We are the Cold Case Cowboys... Tom Hall, Syd Boyle, Al Olson and Lee Tyler. Our cold case squad was formed in December of 2002. "Cold Case Cowboys" is not just a "catchy" name. We are Retired Police Officers who make up a Volunteer Cold Case Squad investigating old homicides. Although we are volunteers, we are sworn officers who work Tuesdays and Wednesday of each week doing real police work for a good cause; solving old murders, bringing some measure of justice to victims families and helping other agencies form similar volunteer squads. We hope that we can serve as a model of how "retired human resources" (experienced retired officers) can help lighten the burden in many more communities by volunteering their time and years of experience....read more....
